The newly built Island Training Centre is the future of development on Vancouver Island. With 55,000 sq. ft., the world-class multi-sport facility is the largest of it’s kind in British Columbia. The ITC provides a home for sport development & enjoyment throughout Greater Victoria and the Island.
The Island Training Centre was built to inspire the next generation of athletes on Vancouver Island. As the training home for Pacific Football Club the ITC is host to all levels of soccer with a state of the art turf field.
The Island Training Centre (ITC) was created to inspire and develop the next generation of athletes. With the state of the art sport court, the ITC is able to offer Futsal a sport similar to soccer that focuses more on the technical side of the game.
One of the biggest differences between Soccer and Futsal is the ball. In Futsal the ball tends to be “low-bounce” whereas, in soccer, there is a regular styled ball. In Futsal there is an emphasis on moving the ball quickly in tight spaces with less players playing at one time due to the smaller area.
Learning and developing the technical side of the game translates directly to the field for soccer. Canada much like many countries around the world use a combination of futsal and soccer to develop their young athletes to reach the next level.

The City of Langford and Vancouver Island is the capital and host to Canada’s National teams. As such Rugby is a vital sport that encompasses our community and what we offer at the Island Training Centre.
The Island Training Centre boasts a new state of the art turf field that can host multiple sports including rugby. The in-door turf offers an elite training surface in addition to cover from the weather.
