Job Description: Director, Youth Programming

Under the umbrella of Pacific Football Club, Powered by Pacific, Van Isle WAVE Program, She Trains and Trident Development are quickly growing across Vancouver Island as the highest level of youth soccer available. We are looking for an engaging and self-motivated full-time Executive Director. The Executive Director will oversee the administration, operations, and growth strategy for all Powered by Pacific programs, including by not limited to: WAVE, Trident and our female She Trains program. The position directly supports the Technical Director and is responsible for the overall leadership and management of all our youth programs.


  • Business or Sport Management Degree / Diploma

  • Previous experience working in a Sport Organization

  • Strong Sport/Soccer Background

  • Program development, administration and communication experience


The position is full time, year round, employee contract position. Hours of work, within the week, are generally flexible. Peak seasonal times include the fall/winter programs, BCSPL league, and development programs. Must be able to work flexible hours and be able to attend evening meetings and weekend events.

The position is initially offered starting fall 2021. The contract may be extended depending on the applicant’s success in the role across the season and upon renewed approval by Pacific Football Club Ownership.


  • Oversee, grow, manage, and develop all Powered by Pacific Programs

  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships within Powered by Pacific Programs, BCSPL, LISA, UISA, BC Soccer, CSA and key partners in the wider youth soccer community.

  • Develop and execute the long term strategy and vision for Van Isle Wave, Trident Development Program, She Trains program, Summer camps & Clinics

  • Develop the annual budget and assure all financials are met and exceeded

  • Support the marketing team to ensure effective communication and promotion is executed across the Island

  • Manage the registration and payment processing

  • Implement equipment and uniform strategy
